Founded in the fall of 2011, the Team Fox Young Professionals of San Francisco are a group of young professionals committed to raising funds and fighting for awareness of Parkinson’s Research through the Michael J. Fox Foundation’s Team Fox. Parkinson’s disease has directly affected all our members with a family member or loved one currently battling the illness. The Team Fox Young Professionals of San Francisco host both spring & fall fundraising functions, in addition to, social events throughout the year to support the fight for Parkinson’s research. Team Fox is the grassroots fundraising arm of The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF). Each year, more than 1,500 Team Fox members worldwide turn their passions and interests into unique fundraising events and athletic feats. Since the group’s inception in 2006, Team Fox members have raised an astounding $15 million for Parkinson’s research, helping MJFF achieve its mission to speed new treatments and, ultimately, find a cure for Parkinson’s disease.
